My love for telling other people’s stories started in middle school.

Maybe because everyone else seemed to have more exciting lives. (“Dear Diary, does everyone have a boyfriend but me?”)

In college, I was a writer and editor for The Collegian, Fresno State’s student newspaper. I covered breaking news stories and went undercover speed dating. After graduation, I interned at a Fresno advertising agency, writing headlines for print ads.

Soon, I wrote radio scripts that my colleague gave me as practice. I later discovered they were just tedious assignments pawned off on me. (Steve, if you’re reading this, thank you for kickstarting my career.)

Fast forward — sorry, scroll — to present day. I’ve created public awareness campaigns for regional government agencies. I’ve been on dozens of locations for shoots, from downtown rooftops to Valley Children’s Stadium. I love collaborating with creatives who say “yes, and” in brainstorms.

In 2021, I joined a powerhouse of a marketing team for startup apps.

Then this happened.

But here I am. And here you are. So glad we met.
